Nusajaya Impresses the Sultan of Brunei
Nusajaya, Johor, Wednesday 27th August 2008 - HM The Sultan of Brunei, accompanied by the Regent of Johor, the Prime Minister of Malaysia and the Menteri Besar of Johor, visited Iskandar and was given a tour and briefing of Nusajaya - key driver of Iskandar Malaysia. The visit provided The Sultan of Brunei information on the latest progress of the largest urban development in South East Asia spanning its residential, commercial, leisure and industrial projects. The visit culminated in a visit to and debriefing at Puteri Harbour, the 688-acre premier waterfront development taking shape in South Johor at Sempitan Puteri (Puteri Narrows) - the narrow-most part of the Straits of Johor.
The Sultan of Brunei was in Malaysia for an official visit and took the opportunity to observe first-hand the development in Nusajaya - The World in One City and was encouraged by what he saw. His Majesty also visited the Puteri Harbour Gallery and was given a full walk through of the master development plan of Puteri Harbour.
